The National Junior Touch Cup is a unique national competition for junior players offering an opportunity to showcase talent, develop skills and play with friends. Come and join us and test your skills against the best Touch Clubs in the country!

We return to Old Leamingtonians RFC, Leamington Spa on Saturday 11th July 2026. With U12, U14 and U17 Girls’, Boys’ and Mixed Divisions there is something for everyone. Each division games and knockout rounds, so plenty of game time!

About the event

  • The event is played to Federation of International Touch (F.I.T.) Rules and is delivered in partnership with England Touch. Benefit from the support and guidance of experienced referees who are committed to ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants.

    Teams are 6-a-side with up to 14 players allowed in a squad.

    Mixed teams should field a minimum of 3 female players on the pitch at all times.

  • The venue for the National Junior Touch Cup is the excellent Old Leamingtonians RFC, The Crofts, Bericote Road, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV32 6QP. The venue has great pitches with a capacity for 8 Touch pitches, bar, catering and changing rooms.

    Royal Leamington Spa is within easy reach of many of the UK’s main motorways, including the M40, M1, M6 and M5. Leamington Spa train station has regular trains to London and the South West, as well as Manchester and the North East.

  • The event is designed to welcome both new and experienced players. As such, while there will be a number of experienced Touch teams, we welcome less experienced players and teams who might be playing Tournament touch for the first time. No Regional or Representative Touch sides are able to enter the event.

    The events will host a U12, U14 and U17 divisions across boys’, girls’ and mixed categories. Players should be below their chosen age group before September.

    • U12s will be in current Year 7 or below.

    • U14s will be in current Year 9 and below.

    • U17s will be in current Year 12 and below.

    Each division will host pool and knockout (Cup, Bowl, Plate and Shield) stages throughout the day, giving teams a great Touch experience.

  • If you wish to camp overnight for the event, please confirm how many tents you require when booking your team’s place. Camping costs £10 per tent for the event. We will contact you to confirm your camping requirements. If you are looking to bring a motorhome or pitch with electricity, please follow this link.

  • The National Junior Touch Cup event is not just about Touch. There are also fun and games, food and camping available at Old Leamingtonians RFC.

Set up in memory of Jessica Pardo, who was passionate about rugby and sport, Jessica’s Promise aims to support young people to take part in and enjoy sporting opportunities and improve their mental health through being active and part of a team.
